The office provides inmate services for 61 Southern California correctional facilities, including jails, prisons, and juvenile detention camps. Services include family prison visitation support, and pastoral counseling for families/friends of inmates and for victims of crime. There are no geographic restrictions.

Family prison visitation support is provided for women on Mother's Day at four Southern California correctional facilities: California Institution for Women, Corona; Central California Women's Facility; Valley State Prison, Chowchilla; and Ventura State Prison, Chowchilla.

Pastoral counseling is conducted by clergy and religious chaplains and lay volunteers recruited from faith-based communities, especially Catholic parishes, on a regular schedule of visitation. Families of inmates and victims of crime may contact the Office of Restorative Justice to inquire about the schedule, or about the program.
