US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a branch of the Department of Homeland Security that is charged with the enforcement of immigration and customs laws. Services include crime reporting of undocumented persons who are in violation of immigration law. There are no geographic restrictions.

The ICE department detains and removes illegal immigrants; investigates people, money sources, and materials that support terrorism; seeks to dismantle gang organizations by seizing their illegal financial assets; investigates fraudulent immigrant benefits applications and documents; investigates the illegal export of munitions and technology; assists in the capture of criminals who traffic or smuggle humans across the border; provides law enforcement to federal buildings; and targets criminal organizations that produce, smuggle and distribute counterfeit products.

The general public can assist in the investigative work of the department through the National TIP Line, 866 DHS-2-ICE. The line accepts reports of illegal immigrants and other violations of immigration and customs laws. The line cannot provide reports on previously reported crimes. It is a criminal offense to knowingly report false information.
