Health Insurance Information/Counseling

Covered California is a health insurance marketplace that was created to help implement the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Services include health insurance information and counseling. This is a statewide program; there are no geographic restrictions.
Through Covered California both individuals and certain small businesses with less than 100 employees can compare and purchase different health insurance plans online, over the phone, or in person. Staff will assist them to compare different health insurance plans, learn if they qualify for federal financial assistance, determine if they are eligible for health programs such as Medi-Cal, and find the right insurance option for their budget.
