The agency provides services for veterans whose discharge status is other than dishonorable in Los Angeles County. Services include case/care management, specialized information and referral and personal financial counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.
Services are aimed at providing housing for homeless veterans and their families and preventing homelessness in situations where eviction is imminent. Services are for families who are enrolled in the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program. Information and referral is provided for food programs, financial assistance programs, housing and substance abuse programs. Personal financial counseling provides training and assistance with benefits and budgeting.
Secondary services may include child care assistance, bus passes or TAP cards, benefits assistance, and legal referrals.
