The department provides vocational rehabilitation services for people who have disabilities. The service area includes the cities of Burbank, Canoga Park, Glendale, Granada Hills, Lancaster/Antelope Valley, Monrovia, Pasadena, Santa Clarita and Van Nuys.

The agency provides a variety of vocational rehabilitation services for people age 16 and older who have disabilities which interfere with their securing and maintaining employment and who can reasonably be expected to be able to work after completing a rehabilitation program. The goal is to help Department of Rehabilitation Consumers prepare for employment and to enhance their ability and potential to live more independently. The services provided are individualized and may include disability-related examinations, counseling, pre-vocational training, job training and placement.
