Missions (Single Men)
Provider: LONG BEACH RESCUE MISSION
The program provides shelters for families with children and single women and men in the Long Beach area. Children 12 years and younger are accepted. Women and women with children have their intake interview and are referred by Long Beach Multi-Service Center; see the separate entry. The shelter has limited space for people who use wheelchairs. Services are restricted to Long Beach residents.
The program provides meals daily and offers regular devotional services during their stay. The length of stay is evaluated on an individual basis.

Women with children and single women, walk in to apply at Long Beach Multi-Service Center for Lydia House, or call the Intake number for directions and an intake interview with a case manager.
Single men, line-up at Long Beach Rescue Mission starting at 3:15pm for Samaritan House. Samaritan House opens at 3:30pm. Names are put on a list for a bed.
