Provider: LONG BEACH RESCUE MISSION
The program provides shelters for families with children and single women and men in the Long Beach area. Children 12 years and younger are accepted. Women and women with children have their intake interview and are referred by Long Beach Multi-Service Center; see the separate entry. The shelter has limited space for people who use wheelchairs. Services are restricted to Long Beach residents.
The program provides meals daily and offers regular devotional services during their stay. The length of stay is evaluated on an individual basis.

Walk in to Apply Service hours
[REVIEW_REQUIRED] Monday through Thursday, men line up for Samaritan House at 3:15pm; and Friday through Sunday at 4:15pm. Samaritan House opens at 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday; and 5:00pm, Friday through Sunday. Names are put on a list for a bed.
