The facility provides hospital services for people of all ages in the Antelope Valley area. Services include blood banks, electronic emergency room care, home nursing, hospitals, neonatal intensive care, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and personal emergency response systems. Geographic restrictions apply for some services.
This is a full-service medical facility that provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient health care services for people of all ages. Services include emergency room care; a critical care unit; a coronary care unit; a cardiac treatment center; a neonatal intensive care nursery; obstetrics; pediatrics; an open heart surgery facility; rehabilitation services; hemodialysis; an emergency alert response system; laboratory services; radiology; physical, occupational and respiratory therapy; home health services; a blood donor center; and an inpatient pharmacy.
The hospital provides a Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) for pregnant women who are eligible for Medi-Cal. The program provides nutrition and health education, psychosocial services and basic prenatal and obstetrical care.
The Lifeline program provides a personal 24-hour electronic emergency communication system for individuals who are elderly, ill or have disabilities. Each client receives a small wireless device which dials the medical center when the button is pushed. The unit contains a built in 12 hour timing device which will automatically send a signal to the hospital if the individual does not reset it. People are eligible for the program based on medical history, established need for the service, the number of devices available for lease and residence in the medical center's service area.
