Crisis Intervention Volunteer Opportunities

The agency provides volunteer opportunities for individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include adoption support volunteer opportunities, crisis intervention volunteer opportunities, helpline volunteer opportunities, mentoring services volunteer opportunities, and sexual assault volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.
The crisis hotline volunteer staff are certified as sexual assault service providers through the CalEMA (California Emergency Management Agency). The training is a 60-hour, four weekend course; it is offered four times a year. Some volunteer opportunities are advocate opportunities (all community members) and some are clinical opportunities (graduate program members).
