Child Care Provider Referrals

The agency provides child care information and referral, child care subsidy services (CalWORKs contracted provider), respite care, and access to the Trustline service. Anyone is eligible for information about child care referrals located in South Central and Southwest Los Angeles, Compton, Gardena, Hawthorne, Inglewood, and Lawndale. There are geographic restrictions for some services.

Respite care is available for children who are referred by a child welfare agency and at risk for abuse or neglect. Trustline screens child care providers for criminal convictions or child abuse reports. People may also call for information about child care services or child care.

The service includes information to assist people in selecting appropriate licensed child care providers in their service area.
