Street/Sidewalk Use Permits

The agency provides street/sidewalk use permits to local businesses in the City of Los Angeles. There are no geographic restrictions.
The L.A. Al Fresco program establishes rules and issues permits for outdoor dining on private property, sidewalks, and in-street. LADOT is responsible reviewing and approving applications for curbside and parking lane dining, and will install new dining areas subject to the availability of equipment.
