Bereavement and Grief Support Groups

The program provides self-help groups for individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include aging/older adult support groups, bereavement support groups, health related support groups for heart disease and for weight loss surgery patients. There are no geographic restrictions.
The bereavement support group is for bereaved adults. It is moderated by a trained volunteer. The group is ongoing and meets weekly. The bariatric support group is for individuals considering or who have gone through weight loss surgery. The meetings are monthly and topics vary by month. Older adult support groups and the groups for heart disease patients hours vary. Call for information.
