Walk in to apply for a business license application; specialized permits may also be required, also accessing a business license application is available through the website. Licenses are issued four to six weeks after receipt of payment.

Fees
There are no fees for most services; there are fixed fees for various permits. Fees for business licenses are based on gross receipts; applicants are asked to estimate this amount when applying for a new business. In addition, there is a base fee of $84.99 for businesses with gross receipts of $0 to $5,000. Businesses with gross receipts exceeding $5000 pay a higher fee depending on the business category. There are additional fixed fees for in town businesses; $50 for a home occupancy permit and $100 for a commercial business permit.
