Outreach Programs

The hospital provides community health services in the Glendale area. Services include bereavement support groups, community clinic, exercise classes/groups, general health education programs, occupational health and safety, outreach programs to community and ethnic groups, smoking cessation programs, and weight loss assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.

Community clinic services are provided one evening a week at the Community Free Health Clinic, located in the Carlson Fellowship Center. Services at the clinic include a free physical exam, prescriptions, and follow-up tests, exams or referrals.

Wellness programs such as exercise classes, general health education programs and classes, smoking cessation programs and weight loss assistance are offered for the community. Outreach programs include health awareness presentations in the area's Armenian, Hispanic, Filipino and Korean communities.

Occupational medicine is provided through the hospital Occupational Medicine Center.
