The agency provides in-home support services for adults and children with disabilities, frail elderly, older adults, and post partum mothers in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Services include, children's in home respite care for developmentally disabled children, home health aides, homemaker assistance and homemaker assistance for postpartum mothers, home nursing with CNA's, personal care assistants, and transportation. There are no geographic restrictions.
The program provides service for all ages and can provide round the clock care, 7 days per week. Home health aides can assist people with all types of diagnosis.
The Mommy's Helper program provides homemaker assistance for post partum mothers. The personal assistant takes care of household chores to allow the mother time to bond with her new infant, and to get needed rest.
Children's in-home respite care is provided for family caretakers of developmentally delayed youth, from infancy to 18 years.
The agency employs CNA's, Medical Assistants and Home Health Aides to perform health related duties such as medication reminders and nutrition monitoring. Homemakers do light housework and errands. Personal care assistant can bathe and groom clients who are unable to do these tasks safely as well as help with letter writing, companionship, transportation, and other personal care services.
