Student Disability Services (Infants/Toddlers, Developmental Disabilities)

This division administers special education programs and services within schools and special education centers for children and adults age 3 to 22 years old who have disabilities. The division provides a range of program and related services to students found eligible for special education. Services include special education assessment, special education student disability services, adapted physical education, transportation and accepting school complaints about these issues. Services are restricted to residents of Los Angeles Unified School District.

The Division of Special Education offers technical assistance to schools and parents in areas of instruction, behavior intervention, and support for inclusive settings.
