English as a Second Language

The school district office administers the educational services offered by six junior high schools, six senior high schools and one continuation high school in the Santa Clarita Valley. The district also administers Learning Post Independent Study Center for high school students who have special needs and Golden Oak Adult School which offers ESL classes and other adult education programs. Career education and vocational services are available for high school age students through a Regional Occupational Program and career centers that are located at each high school. Geographic restrictions apply.

The Hart District Regional Occupational Program provides vocational education and non-paid on-the-job training in a variety of occupations. Occupations include Agriculture, Business, Health-Related, Home Economics-related, and Industrial Technology fields.
