The museum houses intercultural exhibitions and offers various learning opportunities about the American West including Native American art and artifacts, film memorabilia, historic firearms, paintings, and more. The museum provides group visits that may include a tour of the museum as well as a planned activity. The museum also offers a wide range of public events and programs including lectures, film, theater, festivals, family activities, music, research, and educational outreach.

Admission is $19.00 for adults, $14.00 for students and seniors 60 years and older, $8.00 for children 3 through 12 years. Members, children 2 years and younger and veterans are free. The museum is free on the second Tuesday of every month. Membership fees vary, depending on family size and membership level; call for more information or visit the agency's website.
