Educational Therapy
Provider: ALMANSOR ACADEMY
The center provides services for people who have disabilities ages 5 to 19 including developmental, emotional, communication, learning and behavior problems and targets those who live in the West San Gabriel Valley and East Los Angeles areas of Los Angeles County. Services include child care providers, developmental disabilities day habilitation programs, educational therapy, general counseling services, speech therapy, special education assessment and vocational rehabilitation. Age restrictions apply for some services; there are no geographic restrictions.
Services are intended to enhance strengths and remediate weaknesses in academic, language, vocational, self-help, social and psycho-motor areas. Staff provide individualized assessments and treatment as appropriate.
Child care is available for children with or without disabilities, ages six-weeks through five years old.
