Classroom Training
Provider: HACIENDA LA PUENTE ADULT EDUCATION
The program provides WIOA classroom training for adults. Job developers provide job counseling, job search skills, job search/placement, and support services. Support services include assistance with child care referrals and transportation. Vocational academic support is provided concurrently with vocational training when assessed need is identified. There are no geographic restrictions.
Training is provided in the following occupations: Accounting Clerk, Administrative Medical Assistant - Front Office, Automobile Mechanic/Automotive Mechanic, Clinical Medical Assistant Back Office, Combination Welder, Computer Operator/Software Applications, Data Processing/Data Entry, Optical Dispensing Technician, Optical Lab Technician, and Typist Keyboarding. The length of the training varies from 240 hours to 1440 hours, depending on the training course chosen.
