Welfare Rights Assistance
Provider: CITY OF LONG BEACH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES - WEST FACILITIES CENTER
The center provides advocacy to pregnant women who live in Long Beach to improve their access to pre-natal care. Welfare rights assistance is provided to help women obtain Medi-Cal for themselves and their newborn children. The program also assists with Healthy Families enrollment and provides a Medi-Cal outreach program.
