Food Stamps/SNAP Applications

California's Summer EBT Program, also known as SUN Bucks, provides $120 per eligible school age child, to help families buy food during the dummer when school is out.  

Families with children who already receive or qualify for CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal will automatically be enrolled in SUN Bucks. There is no need to sign up; an EBT card will be mailed out.

Families with children ages 0 to 22 who do not receive the above benefits, but who qualify for free or reduced price meals (certified at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level) can submit a school meal application or Univeral Benefits Application to their school site.

For families who are not automatically enrolled, the deadline to apply is August 31, 2026.
