GED/High School Equivalency Test Instruction (Students With Disabilities)

Provider: LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - DIVISION OF ADULT AND CAREER EDUCATION - DISABILITY SUPPORT PROGRAM

The program provides services for adults with disabilities in the Los Angeles Unified School district.

The program provides advisement, enrollment, support and accommodations to adult students who have disabilities and are enrolled in general adult courses which include Career Technical Education, High School Diploma or Equivalency, English as a Second Language and general academic remediation. Courses are also available for English Language Proficiency Skills for the deaf.

Services may include course advisement, personalized registration assistance, test accommodations, assistive technology, sign language interpreters, agency referrals and liaison, and coordination of services for students working with the Department of Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration and other community agencies.
