Disability Related Transportation
Provider: POMONA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY - CLAREMONT DIAL-A-RIDE
The program provides transportation services for individuals, including seniors age 60 and older, and individuals who have disabilities. Services include a disability related transportation, general paratransit/community ride programs, and senior ride programs. Geographic restrictions apply.
A pre-scheduled group travelling to the same destination may receive a discounted fare with a party of 6 or more people. The agency also provides lift-equipped vans for people who use wheelchairs.

Call to schedule. People may call up to 7 days before the trip and may also call the same day at least 45 minutes before the pick up time. The group trip must be pre-scheduled 24 hours in advance. Hearing impaired can initiate a call by dialing 711.
Fares for the general public are $2.50 per ride; seniors and disabled people pay $1.50; general public riders traveling outside Claremont $4.00, seniors and disabled pay $2.50; seniors and disabled after hours service is $2.50; additional rider fee when two riders travel from the same pick-up address to the same destination $1.00. People are asked to present correct change, as the drivers carry no change.
Ten ride ticket books are also available at City Hall. The cost is $15 for seniors and disabled and $25 for the general public.
