Juvenile Diversion

Provider: CHILD AND FAMILY GUIDANCE CENTER

 The agency provides services for youth who live in the Antelope Valley, San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. There are no geographic restrictions. 

  Juvenile diversion includes the Juvenile Offense Prevention Program (JOPP) for adolescents who are referred by the Los Angeles County Probation Department and the Los Angeles Police Department. Services include individual, group and family psychotherapy; and information and referral to other community organizations.

Application Procedure
Call to apply. An appointment is required. All applicants are required to attend an intake interview. Residents of the Antelope Valley and north of Acton contact the North County site. Residents of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys contact the San Fernando Valley Child Guidance and the Family Stress Center.
Fees
The fees vary for different services from fixed fees to no cost; Medi-Cal, Healthy Kids and Healthy Families are accepted.
