Child Abuse Counseling
Provider: RICHSTONE FAMILY CENTER
The center provides mental health services for low-income, at risk children and families. Services include anger management; case/care management; central intake and assessment for child abuse issues; child abuse counseling; court-ordered parenting classes; spouse/intimate partner abuse counseling and support groups; and general individual and family counseling. The focus of service is on children who have been abused, and on at-risk families; and parenting skills development. There are no geographic restrictions.
Anger management classes for court-referred clients consists of 10 ninety-minute classes. Certificates are issued to clients upon completion.
Parenting classes for court-ordered clients consists of 18 sixty-minute classes. Certificates are issued to clients upon completion.
