Provider: BEACON LIGHT MISSION
The program provides shelter for homeless single men 18 years and older, who are in the Harbor area. The shelter cannot accommodate people who use wheelchairs. The maximum length of stay is usually 30 days. Former residents may return after a two-month period. There are no geographic restrictions.
The shelter can accommodate 21 men in a dormitory-style setting. Bedding, linen, clothing, breakfast, dinner, and shower facilities are provided. Residents are required to adhere to the 6:45pm curfew and the 6:00am wake-up times, refrain from smoking or using alcohol or drugs; all individuals are asked to have a 14-day sobriety period before coming . Chapel attendance is required.
