Specialized Information and Referral (Individuals Recovering from an Alcohol Use Disorder)

The agency provides information and referral services for sober living housing in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties in Southern California. Services include specialized information and referral to sober living housing, substance abuse service provider complaints, and technical assistance specialization for sober living homes. There are no geographic restrictions.

Eligibility requires persons to fully take care of themselves and to be active in a recovery program.

The agency accepts complaints about sober living homes in Los Angeles County only. Issues may include property maintenance, unsafe or unhealthy property conditions, overcrowding or excessive noise, or inappropriate behavior. The agency will visit and/or investigate the property to help resolve issues. They will also forward their findings to the appropriate city or county authority as needed. Names of complainants will not be shared with property owners without prior consent.
