The agency provides services for older adults including food stamps/SNAP applications for individuals in Long Beach. Geographic restrictions apply.
Application assistance is provided for seniors interested in receiving SNAP benefits. SNAP benefits, formerly known as Food Stamps, are available for eligible low-income residents, including seniors and enable individuals to purchase groceries at participating locations and farmers markets.
Heart of Ida also assists qualifying seniors with a monthly fresh food box delivery.
