Marine/Maritime Museums

The museum provides exhibits related to the maritime history of Los Angeles. The instructional programs includes educational tours for youth in grades K through 12. There are no geographic restrictions.
The FCC Ham operator test is administered at the center. The museum also hosts a United Radio Amateur Club and exhibits an interactive ham radio station for museum visitors.
Services for students include a volunteer docent-led tour of the facility and an overview of the maritime history of Los Angeles. The museum exhibits over 100 models of boats and ships, including monuments to the USS Los Angeles.

Admission to the museum is by donation only; the suggested donation is $5 for adults; $3 for seniors; and free for children ages 12 and under.
