Health Care Referrals (Hemophilia)

Provider: HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

  The Foundation provides health services related to hemophilia, an inherited blood disorder, and other bleeding disorders for people of all ages who are afflicted, their families and for the public in Los Angeles County. Services include advocacy, disease/disability information and specialized information and referral. There are no geographic restrictions.  

  Information and referral services are provided for people who have hemophilia and other bleeding disorders and their families and include referrals for education resources and community support groups.  

  Disease/disability information and public awareness/education are provided through information and literature, multimedia resources, newsletter, pamphlets, printed materials and referrals for education and research.  

  Additional programs include scholarships, emergency financial assistance and summer camps for boys and girls age 6 to 16 who have a bleeding disorder.
