Specialized Information and Referral

The agency provides family planning services for women in Los Angeles County. Services include adoption information, postabortion counseling, pre-abortion counseling, pregnancy counseling, pregnancy testing, safer sex education, sexually transmitted disease screening, specialized information and referral and ultrasound scanning. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services include information, education and counseling on pre and post abortion; adoption; pregnancy; and sexually transmitted diseases, as well as information and referrals for abortion alternatives such as adoption and parenting. It does not provide or refer for abortions nor provide sexually transmitted disease treatment.

Medical services include clinical pregnancy testing and limited obstetrical ultrasound tests to confirm pregnancy.

The goal of the agency is to provide support for people who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Specialized information and referrals for community services including social services or any other services pertaining to pregnant women.
