Workshops/Symposiums

The agency provides self-help groups for people affected by another's gambling who live in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Services include gambling support groups, printed materials, and workshops/symposiums. Gam-Anon is not allied with any religious, governmental or mental health organization. There are no geographic restrictions.

Support group meetings are 12 step support groups for those affected by the compulsive gambling of another.

Members have anonymity, using first name and last initial only, and members do not share what is said at the meetings by other members with anyone who was not present themselves to hear what was said.

Printed materials, periodic workshops and conference information is also available at meetings or on the website.
