Continuing Education
Provider: SANTA CLARITA COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT - CANYON COUNTRY CAMPUS
The agency provides post-secondary education services for adults age 18 and older and high school graduates of any age in Los Angeles County. Services include community college districts, community colleges, continuing education, and professional continuing education. There are no geographic restrictions.
The college provides academic, vocational, and community education programs and also offers a two-year academic program which prepares liberal arts students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
Occupational programs which qualify people for vocational licensure and/or careers are also available.
In addition, the college provides remedial and community education programs which are designed to meet people's self-improvement, cultural enrichment, and recreational interests. These programs include English as a Second Language courses.
