Diversion Programs (Substance Use Disorders)

The agency provides substance use disorder services for adults age 18 and older, who live in Los Angeles County. Services include drug/alcohol testing, adult diversion for substance use disorders and first offender DUI programs. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency offers drug/alcohol testing for non-clients for a fee.
First offender DUI programs are available for court-referred individuals. The programs includes alcohol education, individual and group counseling, and introduction to twelve-step groups.
This county Client Engagement & Navigation Services (CENS) provides central intake/assessment for alcohol and/or drug abuse. Staff use an automated assessment tool to determine addiction severity and screen the participant's eligibility for specifically funded county-contracted alcohol and drug programs. Supportive services may include substance abuse education, vocational rehabilitation, transportation and referrals to other community services.
A drug diversion PC1000 program is also offered to court-referred adults.

Fees
Fees for drug testing for non-clients are $50 per test; fees for the drug diversion program are $570, $75 for intake and $27 per session.
