Special Needs Adoption
Provider: INNER CIRCLE FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION SERVICES
The agency provides foster care services for children age 18 and younger and families in Los Angeles County. Services include adoption evaluation/placement, foster home placement, foster homes for dependent children, foster parent/family recruitment, and special needs adoption. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.
The agency specializes in placing children with developmental disabilities and special needs.
A social worker is assigned to each individual child and provides case management, therapy and other support services as needed. The agency contracts with the North Los Angeles Regional Center to secure cooperative placements for children with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental challenges, down syndrome, and autism in homes with specially trained parents.
The agency recruits, trains, and certifies foster parents of all ages.
