Building Inspection

This is the government office for the city of Pasadena. Services include business registration/licensing, building inspection, building permits, city government information lines, electrical permits, election information, elevator permits, graffiti removal, illegal dumping reporting, land use planning and regulation services, mechanical permits, occupancy inspection, plumbing permits, trash/garbage pick up, large item trash/garbage pickup, street cleaning, street construction/repair, street lights and street maintenance. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Pasadena.

The city provides refuse collection through the division of street maintenance and integrated waste management. It also offers large/bulky item trash pickup. It also accepts reports about illegal dumping of hazardous and nonhazardous wastes, including dog waste.
