Public Wi-Fi Sites
Provider: CITY OF LOS ANGELES PUBLIC LIBRARY
The agency provides technology services to individuals and businesses in Los Angeles County. Services include public Wi-Fi sites and media equipment loan. There are no geographic restrictions.
Public Wi-Fi hotspots are available in all the L A City Library sites as well as in the general outdoor public areas of downtown including Pershing Square, the Historic Core of downtown including the Broadway Theater district and the Financial district, Bunker Hill and the Los Angeles Convention Center. LA WiFi also provides public internet access in the Van Nuys Civic Center and the Los Angeles International Airport.
Media equipment loan of mobile hotspots, tablets, iPads, and laptops are available at select branch locations through the agency's Tech2go program.
