Job Training Formats
Provider: TRI-CITIES REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM
The agency provides job training programs for high school students and adults who live in the El Rancho or Whittier Union High School Districts which include Pico Rivera, parts of Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs and Whittier. Services include classroom training, job training formats, regional occupational programs and work based learning. High school students who are age 16 and under may attend with the permission of their high school counselor or ROP advisor. Priority is given to residents, although, there are no geographic restrictions.
Potential or current students may also apply for vocational counseling. Training is available in the business, health, trade and technical, and service fields to prepare students to work in computer, culinary, dental assistant, fire technology, clerical, automotive, printing, emergency medical responder, nursing, and other fields. Students who complete training with employment level skills receive a certificate of completion.

Call the ROP office for enrollment information. High school students who wish to attend enroll through their high school counselor or school ROP advisor.
