The Travel Medicine Program provides information about health risks associated with domestic and international travel including disease prevention, safe practices and precautions, food and water precautions and consular information. Staff pharmacists are certificated by the International Society of Travel Medicine to advise and administer vaccination requirements dictated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.
Available vaccines include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Immune Globulin, Influenza, Japanese Encephalitis, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Meningococcal infections, Poliomyelitis, Rabies, Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis, Typhoid Fever, Varicella, and Yellow Fever.
