Bereavement and Grief Counseling

The agency provides end of life services to people who live in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. Services include bereavement counseling, hospice care, and in-home hospice care. There are no geographic restrictions.

Hospice services for adult patients with life-limiting illness services. The patient and family must agree to palliative care. Services include care for people with a variety of terminal conditions, including AIDS, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, dementia, heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, neurological diseases, pulmonary disease, and renal failure. The program utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of medical, social work, and mental health professionals. After-hour care is available.

The agency offers secondary services that cover lab testing, covid testing, in-home care, medication support, transportation support, care planning, case management, medical equipment, PT/OT/Speech therapy, primary care telehealth, mortuary and funeral discounts /setup (Catholic/Christian and Jewish), funeral checklist resources, help with advance directives, reverse mortgage, estate planning, financial assistance programs (IHHS support), flowers, volunteering services, senior living /assistant living support, caregivers, utilization of VA benefits, social worker, bereavement services, wound care, podiatry, spiritual services, psychological services, psychiatric services, end of life doula, dentistry, making dreams come true, and support from local medical clinics.
