Abandoned Vehicle Reporting/Removal
Provider: CITY OF WHITTIER POLICE DEPARTMENT
The department provides law enforcement services for the cities of Whittier and Santa Fe Springs. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting/removal, child fingerprinting, citizenship and immigration services fingerprinting, crime prevention, emergency protective orders, employment related fingerprinting, law enforcement complaints, neighborhood watch programs, municipal police, police reports and temporary restraining orders. There are no geographic restrictions.
Livescan fingerprinting is available for adult employment and citizenship/immigration identification and background checks.
Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.
The department provides crime prevention through community education presentations and technical assistance. It assists residents in organizing neighborhood watch programs.
