Elderly/Disabled Home Rental Listings
Provider: CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES - ADMINISTRATION
The department provides services for people with disabilities ages 18 to 61, who receive Medi-Cal or are eligible to receive Medi-Cal. Services include elderly/disabled home rental listings for Section 811 housing, WHEN IT IS AVAILABLE. Additional eligilility requirements apply; there are no geographic restrictions.
Section 811 provides permanent supportive housing for extremely low-income persons with disabilities.
To qualify, applicants must meet all requirements to be eligible:
- Between the ages of 18 to 61,
- Disabled,
- Living in a long-term health care facility for at least 60 days, with the desire to return to community living or are at risk of institutionalizaion, and
- Medi-Cal eligible (and qualifed for community-based services and support)
The Section 811 program is currently closed and is not accepting applications.
