Street Outreach Programs

The program provides street outreach programs for people in Los Angeles County. Services include street outreach teams and general assessment. There are no geographic restrictions. The program accepts reports of homeless individuals. The line provides a centralized intake and outreach requests dispatched to regional outreach teams. Information can be reported anonymously, however, caller identification is preferred and confidentiality of the reporter's name is maintained. Outreach teams cannot force an unwilling person to accept services or leave a possible dangerous situation, however, the outreach teams can involve or refer the person to community agencies who will assist them.
