Mechanical Permits

This is the government office for the city of Rosemead. Services include animal control, animal licenses, dead animal pickup, election information, information about public officials, city information lines, business licensing, building and occupancy inspections, permits, city maintenance and planning and zoning. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Rosemead.

The Public Safety Center site accepts reports of animal-related nuisances and dead animals in public areas.

The city provides building permits, electrical permits, elevator permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits for any contracted work done within city limits.

City maintenance includes graffiti removal, street maintenance, street construction/repair, street lighting maintenance and street cleaning. The Public Safety Division provides various animal control services for Rosemead residents including dog licenses, animal complaints and investigations, dead animal pickup, pet surrender and other services.
