The agency provides cash assistance programs for immigrants (CAPI) services to certain aged, blind, and disabled legal non-citizens in Los Angeles County. Services include cash assistance programs for immigrants, and refugee/entrant cash assistance applications. There are no geographic restrictions.
CAPI provides cash assistance to certain aged, blind, and disabled legal non-citizens who are ineligible for Supplemental Social Security Income or State Supplmental Payment (SSI/SSP) due to their immigration status. Participants may be eligible for Medi-Cal, In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), and/or CalFresh (Food Stamp) benefits.
