English as a Second Language
Provider: LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - NORTH VALLEY OCCUPATIONAL CENTER
The center provides education services for adults in Los Angeles County and for adolescents concurrently enrolled in high school programs. Services include adult basic education, adult high school diploma programs, english as a second language, and GED instruction. There are no geographic restrictions.

Application Procedure
Call or walk in for information or to enroll. A referral from a school counselor is required for students currently enrolled in high school. High School diploma, GED and some Career Technical Education programs require intake testing before the student enrolls.
Fees
There are no fees for high school students. Seniors, age 60 or older, students with verifiable disabilities and people on public assitance may waive registration fee and pay only class material fees. Registration and class fees are paid by adult students.
