Disability Related Transportation

Provider: CITY OF SIERRA MADRE

The city provides transportation services for residents of Sierra Madre age 62 and older or disabled residents of any age. Services include disability related transportation and senior ride programs. Services are restricted to the city of Sierra Madre and specific points within two miles of the city or designated medical facilities.

Dial-a-Ride provides transportation for older adults, age 65 and older, and for disabled people of any age. Service is curb-to-curb. All vans are wheelchair accessible.

Application Procedure
Participants must register with the City Community Services department and provide proof of age or disability.

Call to arrange transportation. Riders may call for service up to 24 hours before they need to travel.
Fees
Fares are $0.50 for one-way for in-town trips and $0.50 each way for rides that leave the City limits but go no more than 2 miles beyond the City's outer boundaries, or to any of the medical facilities in Arcadia, Duarte, or Pasadena.
