Substance Use Disorder Education/Prevention

The center provides mental health services for people of all ages in Los Angeles. Services include substance use disorder education/prevention and wellness programs. This is a Substance Abuse Prevention Counselor, Community Engagement Team (SAPC) center. There are no geographic restrictions.
Mental health services include support, mental health wellness classes and connection to community resources. Healing workshops and trauma prevention services are also available. Services specific to teens are also available.
SAPC centers connect individuals to substance use disorder prevention and treatment services.
Training on how to administer medication (naxolone) to reverse an opioid overdose may also be available.
