The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Bell Gardens. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, and temporary restraining order assistance services. The service area is restricted to the city of Bell Gardens.
Temporary restraining order assistance is on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.
Police reports can be requested three days after the complaint is filed; not all reports are releasable.

In an emergency, call 9-1-1. Call or walk in for non-emergency services or for information.
Fees
There are no fees for most services; reports fees are $25 per report; repossession fees are $15 and verification/clearance letter fees are $15 per letter.
