Adult Day Health Programs

The agency provides adult day health care for people, age 18 and older, who are physically, psychologically, or emotionally frail or disabled, including people with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, and other similar conditions in Los Angeles County. Services include adult day health care. The service area is restricted to the City of Los Angeles, but a waiver may be available for people who live out of the service area.
Services include health and rehabilitation programs including an on-site evaluation of medical and nursing care needs; personal care assistance with walking, transferring, eating, medication management and personal grooming; individual and group exercise classes; therapeutic activities to stimulate, educate and entertain participants; physical, occupational and speech therapies; psychiatric and social services; and transportation.
Support services include referrals and help for families and caretakers.
